| Vincent
BESANCON
leads a double life. He is an architect on weekdays
and a watercolourist at the weekend. He knows Brioude and the
area perfectly since he has lived in this town for almost 35
years. In 2008 he signed the first "musical travel diary"
after having attended the 47 concerts of the Festival de la
Chaise-Dieu. As an architect, he takes possession of the space
and volumes of the famous Abbey; as a painter, he sketches the
lively, fastidious gestures of the musicians, the curves of
the instruments, the movement of the orchestras. The Brioude
area with all its varied landscapes is a major source of inspiration
for him. Travel diaries already published:Viêt
Nam (Editions Gallimard; four republications); Angkor Carnets
du Cambodge Besançon Anne-Marie et Vincent (Magellan
& cie);Carnet de Voyage Musical (Editions du Rouergue). |
