Fernand Lamy has been painting for more than 45 years. Initiated to oil painting by Pierre BRUCHE, his teacher, he has later discovered his ideal mode of expression: Watercolour. His favorite subjects are the nature: trees, water, sky, wind, snow, but also the movement and the emotion around -the attitude of a figure,that is more suggested than defined. In Canada, where he is much appreciated, he finds a field of infinite inspiration in the Quebec landscapes, on the occasion of raids he has been organizing regularly there every year. His former profession as a sports teacher is visible in Fernand's marked attraction for sporty subjects.
